Tl dr Fuck GOG/Numantian and any of you downvoting.Ĭananas. Yeah, had the game on Steam/GOG since launch (actually Steam before that via direct dev purchase) so this is news, to me, about GOG crippled version. I truly am shocked the GOG version is incomplete. I thought, hey, install the GOG version and problem solved. Yes, I'm OCD-like about that, and being in the editor for hours would make it look like I played the game for those many extra hours.

I downloaded the GOG version today, ergo my visit now, because I wanted to spend a long time in the editor and the Steam version runs from within the game, meaning it racks up game time on profile, which I would not like. This is yet another GOG crippled version scenario. Yes, the Steam version (which I do have) uploads finished maps to the Workshop "cloud", but making/editing them does not at all rely on that.and like many, I just want to make (or even edit existing ones) and play myself not share or whatever. Whilst there may be an ounce of "technically true" part, it could be made to work anywhere. The editor, you know, that allows users to create their own fucking maps, is not part of the GOG version. The store page does not explicitly note this, but it should. */class USGSOverlay extends scumballs Batman! I came to RAGE about the GOG version NOT including the map editor, but it seems it's already been reported. TypeScript /** * The custom USGSOverlay object contains the USGS image, * the bounds of the image, and a reference to the map. I put some custom maps in that "Maps"-directory and the game indeed also didn't recognize them and yes that folder has all permissions and this even occurs when running the game as administrator. I had to make the "Maps"-folder myself, but opening and saving a map in the worldbuilder also produced thiss map in the AppData directory. I can reproduce your issue, I also only saw those folders and the AdCache folder. Once unlocked, custom maps can be created, edited, played, or your first point won't help as you can't do anything with that file of course. Custom maps are available to the player once "Bubble Sort" (formerly was Cuckoo hashing) in the research tree has been researched.
